This model of MIDI controller is for use in bigger setups. In most expanded version it covers 384 contacts in 6 5-octave keyboards.
It is main component of various configurations and by adding scanners can be sized according to user's needs. Typical
application is MIDI controller for Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ consisting of 2
keyboards, pedalboard and panelboard, stuff like volume pots etc. For larger organ consoles you may want to check the more versatile controllers like MRG2 and MRG3.
Features:
- single board translates 1 or 2 keyboards of 64 keys connected in 8x8 diode matrix into MIDI notes
- 2 inputs for optional keyboard/pedalboard scanner adding up to 128 keys each
- 7 potentiometer inputs, each with user defined channel and type e.g. volume, modulation etc.
- velocity of all notes adjustable by means of potentiometer.
- unlimited transpoze up/down independent for each keyboard in semitone and octave steps.
- independent, user defined MIDI channel for each keyboard.
- part of the keys can be used for MIDI data other than notes, e.g. program change etc.
- +/- buttons for Program Change messages independent for each keyboard
- all settings stored in nonvolatile memory.

If requested, part of the keyboard scanned by one of the scanner can be used as stops/pistons
panelboard. Part of such keyboard would send note-on/off messages recognized
usually as organ stops, and the other part - program change messages, usually used
as stops and combination tabs in organ emulators.
